آموزش Flash MX

من چند ساله که کارهای Flash انجام میدم بنابراین خوشحال میشم اگه کسی سوالی در این زمینه داشته باشه در حد توانم کمکش کنم.

فعلا یک مطلب برای شروع به کار در Flash mx گذاشتم. که البته به زبان انگلیسی توسط  من و دوستم آماده شده.

Abstract

In this lecture at first there is a definition of animation with the usage of it in our daily life. Then the steps of the creation of one of the Animator soft wares called Flash is mentioned briefly. At the end different parts of Flash’s soft ware are introduced and some of the activities that are useful are explained.  


Introduction

Animation again and again

Making animation was announced when directors thought that why should we only make films from our surrounding world. So they put different drawings next to each other to make moving pictures. They called it “Animation “.As the time passed 2 and 3 dimension’s of flash came out, so this made projects more attractive.

The usage of Animation in our daily life

1) Advertising billboards: Nowadays one of the ways that any company and any factory uses for advertising is computer animation. One of these companies is Walt Disney.

 2) Scientific and educating programs: Making scientific and educating programs with camera is difficult and this wasn’t attractive. So they used animation because it doesn’t have limitation in making virtual environments.

 3) Animation combined with film: One of the works that has the most benefit ( which is made with animation ) is making films. In this state it is difficult to recognize which part is film and which part is animation. An example is Matrix.  

 4) Making animation for children’s entertainment: Making animation for children is one of the goals for learning. Animation has an enormous effect on the children because of there attraction, so countries put a lot of money in it. 

 5) Making animation for real models: Animation companies have added this property because of the challenge between software companies and attracting users.

6) Making computer games: This has the most benefit for companies. Computer games are made of two parts: Programming and Animation                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Some of these games are: FIFA, Need For Speed, ….

Flash MX

1: How was Flash created

Jonathon Gay always wanted to be an expert designer, so he started programming and wrote a game in Basic programming language and after a while he chose Pascal for programming, after a while he became an expert( his goal ). He made a graphic editor with Pascal. Charlie Jackson organized his first plan.

After a while he organized a programming group for making graphic programs. The programs had to be in C, because it was the best programming language in that time. They wanted to use the object oriented protocol ( OOP ) property. He started fulltime working for Silicon Beach. Setting up FeutureWave company in January 1993. He changed programs into  program animators  and called it Feuture Splash Animator in summer 1995.  In November 1996 Macromedia gave FeutureWave company a suggestion to work with each other. In December 1996 Macromedia bought FeutureWave and changed  Feuture Splash Animator  to  Macromedia Flash 1.

He is the head of Vice Technology in Macromedia company.

4: Flash at the moment

Flash is in it’s 8th version and it’s Macromedia’s product. It’s a complete software because we can make dimensional animations (1, 2 and 3) in different versions of it. It has different versions called Flash, Swish, Flash MX, …. Flash is one of the best choices for making short and publicity animations.

When you open Flash you see a page with these options

Open A Recent Item: You can open your previous programs with this option.

Create  New: You can make a new project with this option.

Create From Template: You can use ready templates with this option.

6-1: Stage

Stage is a place for inserting shapes, pictures, text, buttons and sound. It is a white page as you open Flash you can see it.

6-2: Tool box

It includes tools for creating, placing and editing shapes and text. It includes four parts

 6-2-1: Tool box parts
          This part is for making shapes and changes on pictures and shapes.
 6-2-2: View
   If you want to zoom either in or out or if you want to move the stage so that you would be able to see the different parts of it you can use this part of Tool box parts.

 

 

   6-2-3: Colors
If you want to choose a color to fill the stage or if you want to change the color of the lines of shapes you can use this part of Tool box parts.
   6-2-4: Options
Each tool has different arrangements  which you can see in here as you choose an object of the tool box parts.
   6-3: Panel
Two of the main parts of the Panel are

 6-3-1: Color mixer: You can make different colors such as: Linear, Radial, Solid and Bitmap, with their options that are in this part ( Panel ).
6-3-2: Library: You can reach the project’s objects an even use them in other parts of your project and change  their properties.
 
 6-4: TimeLine: You can manage the presence and control the objects in stage. The initial and final time of all objects are shown in this part.
6-5: Property Inspector: It shows the arrangement of the selected  object or tool that you can change the property of it in this part
 
6-6: Action Script: You can add instructions to buttons, objects and frames with Flash’s inner programming language. To add action to an object you can use different instructions from this part which is shown in the picture
7: Motion tween
7-1: Symbol: You can convert a motion to symbol by using F8 and you can use it easily again in different parts of your project without doing all the works you did for the first one.
7-2: Motion: To give movement and change the shape of an object through our project we have to change it to tween. For example to give a movement to an object you have to choose the initial and the final point of it in the Timeline. Then you must change them into symbol after that change the tween to motion in the Property Inspector.
7-3: Mask: for making mask in your project you can insert a picture in the Stage an stretch it to the size of the Stage, make a layer on top of this one and right click on this layer, choose mask. Then unlock the top layer, draw a shape and lock the layer again, then you can see the result.
